Steam snail

'Oh snail, climb Mount Fuji, but slowly, slowly!' ..

  I wanted to make a jewel that would enhance slowness ... and here is a mechanical snail.

To make this piece I used a hand-wound vintage watch movement that seemed perfect to me as it was slightly rounded and with three small central rubies.

It is a unique and handmade object in brass and silver. If you have preferences regarding the length of the necklace, please let me know after the purchase.
