Necklace inspired by Melville's famous masterpiece. The silhouette is taken from an illustration in the first edition of Moby Dick - A tribute to nature and the depths of the sea.
It is made of fretworked copper sheet, hammered and flame-oxidized.
The whale bears the marks of time; I have inserted some vintage watch gears to represent the dreamlike world in which it moves. The anchor is made of bronze. It is slightly concave.
The chain is made of brass and measures 80 cm (the length can be adjusted upon request).
