'In a village in La Mancha, the name of which I do not care to recall, there lived not long ago one of those gentlemen who keep a lance in the rack, an ancient shield, a skinny nag, and a greyhound for hunting...'
Don Quixote is the symbol of those who continue to pursue their ideals, even when they seem impossible.
Like many others, I have been captivated by this masterpiece, and many of the knight-errant's adventures have remained etched in my mind, leading me to grow fond of this character born from Cervantes' pen... and here he is, hand-engraved in silver and bronze. Here we see him grappling with the windmills...
I have also created earrings featuring the windmills (for details, see item 386), which can be paired with the necklace.
