Pendant with bronze-trimmed mechanism | Mechanisms

This pendant is part of my series dedicated to clock mechanisms, but with an older, more textured aesthetic.

The frame is entirely handmade in bronze, left with a raw, burnished finish, enlivened by light polishing that highlights its details. The mechanism has also been worked: the surface was oxidized with a flame and subsequently polished in some areas, creating a contrast between dark tones and metallic reflections.

The result is a piece of jewelry with a strong character, in which every gear tells the passage of time. A small fragment of history that can take on a different meaning for the wearer: memory, change, transformation, or simply the charm of mechanics.
