Certain things are beautiful precisely because of their simplicity. I have created several pieces of jewelry on the theme of locks, but this is a true exercise in synthesis. A lock can, much like a door, open up to different meanings depending on the context... at once a closing and an opening, a desire to hide or to share.

The pendant is made of brass, and I have soldered a small brass ring to the top for the chain to slide through.
The chain is made of hypoallergenic brass; its length can be adjusted upon request.
